Any good Bali adventure is filled with long days on the beach, adventures exploring the landscape, evenings eating too much, and, of course, hours of retail therapy.

When you are looking to escape from the heat, and give your credit card a work out, Bali is packed full of incredible shopping centres that offer branded stores, market stalls, local brands, and more!

If you forgot something back home, or want to fill out the extra space in your suitcase, these are all the spots that offer the best shopping in Bali.

Start warning your bank now, some serious damage is about to be done!

Seminyak Village

Sitting in the heart of town, surrounded by small independent stores and lively restaurants, Seminyak Village is the perfect place to start off a Seminyak shopping adventure.

Easily reachable, packed with amazing shops and little market stalls, whether you are looking for something specific or just want to wander the rows, this spacious shopping centre has something for you.

Featuring named brands like Roxy, H&M and ALDO, you can go to your favourite shops for trusted quality, as well as some niche local brands that offer something unique and quirky.

If you are looking to replace the sunglasses that you broke at the beach, need to find some sandals after losing yours at a party, or want a last minute outfit for an upcoming event, Seminyak Village has every kind of store you need.

Stock up on essentials, buy something special and grab souvenirs for your loved ones back home all under one roof.

Just a short walk from the beach, and encompassed with even more shops to explore, Seminyak Village is one of my favourite shopping centres in Bali when I need to relax and get some retail therapy.

Beachwalk Shopping Center

Shoping Mall

Kuta Beachwalk is the shopping centre in Bali that I visit the most. Not only is it jam-packed with amazing brands and stores, it is located just steps from the beach where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset after having swiped your credit card one too many times.

H&M, Pull & Bear, The Body Shop, Topshop, Mango, Zara, Pandora and Marks and Spencer are just a few of the named brands that are located in the spacious open-air mall.

And the sweet-tooth in me has to mention the huge candy emporium sat in the centre of the mall.

For those who want to jazz up their island style, find something for a particular event, find your favourite cosmetics or waste some time away, Kuta Beachwalk is the perfect place to go.

The sprawling mall sits across the street from Kuta Beach with numerous restaurants offering sunset views from their roadside spots.

With a cinema, food court, luxury and streetwear brands, spa, supermarket, banks and hairdresser, you can spend a whole afternoon getting lost in the winding pathways.

Kuta Beachwalk is my top recommendation for those who want to indulge in a little needless spending.

Shopping Mall

Further out from the usual tourist haunts, Mal Bali Galeria is located on Jl Bypass Ngurah Rai, and is one of the best shopping centres in Bali due to its wide variety of offerings.

Popular with the local crowd, the mall features the same named brand stores, including H&M and UNIQLO, as well as extra island-based and Indonesian brands. It is the perfect mixture of stores for a well-rounded shopping experience.

Mal Bali Galeria also has a cinema, numerous banks, a food court and multiple restaurants.

You can easily spend a whole day getting lost in a sea of shopping and dining, before heading home with some real treasures.

Most well known for its Duty Free Shop, you can pick up perfumes, cosmetics and alcohol at the same prices as you would find in the airport – excellent!

If you have a free day to kill, and don’t want to spend it in the hot island sun, Mal Bali Galeria is an ideal place to head for some shopping fun, in cool air-conditioning.

Their collection of cute stores, cosmetics brands, opticians and watch shops is ideal for those who want to browse, and don’t have anything specific in mind.

You can wander the Indonesian brands to find unique pieces, hidden gems and all types of wares – a perfect souvenir shopping spot!

Level 21 Mall has some great entertainment options with a high-class modern cinema that boasts all the latest releases, restaurants, cafes, a full gym and kids play area.

If you are in the area and need something to fill a few hours, exploring the mall and catching a movie will make the time fly by!

Kuta Square

Everyday 9:30 AM-10:00 PM
Jl. Tegal Wangi No.27D, Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia

Kuta Square

OK, so it’s not technically a mall, but Kuta Square is filled with shops that can satisfy every shopping craving.

Just steps from Kuta Beach and the Hard Rock Hotel, you will find shoe shops, trinket stores, a huge supermarket – Matahari – surf shops and sunglasses stores.

For an emergency purchase, or moment of retail weakness, Kuta Square is the perfect place to spend your hard-earned holiday cash.

Find new clothes, accessories, cosmetics and knick knacks to fill up your suitcase on your way home.

Kuta Square is attached to Raya Kuta which is lined with small market stalls selling handmade wares and your traditional Balinese stall findings – inappropriate bottle openers and knock-off perfumes galore!

When you have spent a day in the sun lounging on the beach, Kuta Square is a breezy place to wander some stores, get a snack from KFC or one of the restaurants, and stock up on snacks for later.

Shopping Mall

Looking out over Kuta Beach, Discovery Shopping Mall is just a short walk from Kuta Square and is huge with a wide variety of stores, restaurants and hangouts spots.

The biggest draw to the mall – perhaps just for me – is the Sephora and large department store, SOGO.

Filled with all your favourite brands and names, it is the ideal place to stop-by for some Western fashions and cosmetics. If you visit at the right time they have huge discounts on Levis, Roxy, Quiksilver and other worldwide brands.

As well as the department store, Discovery Shopping Mall has independent stores like Converse, Herschel, Nike and Polo. No matter what you are looking for, it is sure to be here.

When you are done with the shopping – or perhaps need a quick break – the front entrance is filled with fast food restaurants like KFC, JCo, Starbucks and Burger.

However, the back courtyard is where I suggest taking a break so you can enjoy the cool ocean breeze and views of the crashing waves.

Lippo Mall Kuta

Kuta is Bali’s shopping centre haven with all of the best retail hotspots. Another of its shopping gems is Lippo Mall, located in the bustling Kartika Plaza.

The mall is packed with famous branded stores, however it’s the entertainment facilities that really draws in the visitors.

The modern luxurious cinema, kids play area, and multiple fast food spots are ideal for a night of movies and snacks.

The mall even has an open-air courtyard and stage where you can relax under the stars, ordering food and drinks from the surrounding food stalls, watching local bands own the stage playing Western hits.

If you are travelling with children, this is the mall where everyone will be entertained!

There is another Lippo Plaza located on Sunset Road with more entertainment options and amazing food spots!

Jl. Imam Bonjol 440, Pemecutan Klod, Denpasar Barat, Kota Denpasar

Trans Studio Mall

Trans Studio Mall is another of my absolute favourite shopping centres in Bali. It’s home to all the best stores, an impressive cinema, supermarket and a roller coaster! That’s right, a whole-ass ride!

Located on Jl Imam Bonjol, just a short drive from Seminyak and Canggu, you can spend a morning, afternoon, even a whole day getting really into some retail therapy.

Including the popular H&M, Miniso and Samsung, as well as many other stores, you can find everything you need under one roof.

Shop til you drop and then relax with a showing of a newly released movie – popcorn and all!

The kids can be entertained with a ride on the rollercoaster before settling in for a treat meal at Wendy’s or one of the fast-food joints.

If you need an activity for a rainy day, or want to escape the heat, Trans Studio Mall has a little bit of everything to keep everyone happy.

Located in the heart of Nusa Dua, The Bali Collection is a sprawling 8 hectare open-air mall filled with stores, restaurants, market stalls and entertainment, just metres from the beach.

If you are staying in the area, or want to get lost in a day of spending and treats, this is the ideal place to go.

The Bali Collection mixes famous brands like Levis, Nike and Hurley with some Indonesian favourites for a varied shopping experience.

When you – and your credit card – need a rest, you can settle in at one of the 23 restaurants, enjoy some of the weekly entertainment, or treat yourself to a bit of reflexology.

The Bali Collection is one of the biggest and most well-rounded shopping centres in Bali, it is a place you can enjoy even when your bank account is screaming for no more spending.

Final Thoughts

And, there you have it! My shopping secrets are out. These are all the best places to do some damage and get yourself some treats whilst in Bali.

From branded labels, to independent boutiques, cosmetics to electronics, these shopping centres in Bali have everything you could wish for.

Start doing some stretches, cos you are going to be walking away with some super heavy bags!
