As if the stunning, tropical beaches and island’s of Bali weren’t picturesque enough, many iconic sea swings have started to pop up.

Out in the water, on the sand, and with magnificent backdrops, Bali’s sea swings are the perfect spot for a memorable pic.

Best Bali Sea Swings

Around the mainland, Nusa Penida and the Gilis, there are sea swings perfectly setup for a great Insta-pic. 

Diamond Beach Swing – Nusa Penida

The Diamond Beach Swing is found just before you reach the sand of Diamond Beach in Nusa Penida.

On the cliffside, with a view of the ocean and beach behind, it is a magnificent spot to grab a picture.

You will be strapped onto the swing and thrown out over the cliff’s edge – safely, of course.

It is a rocky walk down to the swing and beach, so be prepared to stop and start.

There is also a ‘bird’s nest’ style photo spot for another epic pic opportunity!

Datu Swing/Hotel Ombak Sunset – Gili T

Found on the west side of Gili Trawangan, Datu Swing is the iconic image of a Bali sea swing.

The first well-known swing in Bali, it is a signature spot to visit on a trip to the Gilis.

Sitting outside Hotel Ombak Sunset, the swings dip into the water with a stunning backdrop of Lombok.

Be sure to come by at sunset, and when the tide is high for the best pics. You won’t be disappointed!

Karang Impian Beach Swing – Jembrana Regency

Still a relatively unvisited area of Bali, the two biggest draws to Jembrana are Medewi beach for surfing, and Perancak village for turtle conservation.

There is also a set of stunning swings to try out! 

At Karang Impian Beach Swing, there is not just one, but four swings. There are two with a more extreme swings for adults, and the other two are tamer for kids.

They will all have you flying through the air, out over the beach. 

Dream Island Beach Club – Sanur

You don’t need to travel to the depths of hidden Bali to find sea swings. There is one right in the heart of Sanur, at Dream Island Beach Club.

Sitting in super calm waters, it is an easy swing to reach and get a tropical picture.

Set yourself for a beautiful sunrise or sunset pic on the rustic wooden frame, with the beach club just steps away.

A fave spot for prewedding shoots, you can make memories of a lifetime at the scenic point.

Jasri Swing – Karangasem

Jasri Beach is located in Subagan, Karangasem with three large swings tied between coconut trees.

The beach isn’t crowded with tourists, and is rarely included in a Bali itinerary, even though it is no less beautiful.

The beach has black sand and rocks on the shoreline, but has friendly and safe waves.

As well as the swings and beautiful backdrops, there are many other things you can do at Jasri beach like swimming, fishing from local fishing boats and scuba diving.

Chair Swing – Gili T

Gili islands has not only one but three famous swings. One of the most famous is the chair swing located in the northern part of the island.

Set on the white sand, you don’t need to worry about getting wet or tides with this swing, yet still have the magical ocean back drop. 

Cycle by on your evening explorations, or if you are staying in one of the nearby resorts, you can stop by for sunset.

There are so many incredible photo opportunities around Bali. There is something to be seen and shot just about EVERYWHERE!
