At the centre of Ubud, it is a great place to go for the carnivores.
Fair Warung Balé – A Restaurant with a Cause
The huge menu and unbelievably tasty food isn’t my main reason for including Fair Warung Balé – although it is a bonus. This restaurant in Ubud uses its proceeds to help support and provide free health care to the local people of Bali. 1 meal = 2 free medical treatments! But, if that isn’t enough, there is still more! They help young adults between 14-22 years old to learn about the working environment, immersing them into jobs to give them skills and knowledge for the future. This initiative is enough to have me ordering multiple meals, and I hope it encourages you too!
Wow. Yum! Now I can’t stop thinking about food..
Ubud is a hub of restaurants that often get forgotten because of the hippy, vegan vibe that comes along with the area. But now, I have shone a light on all the hotspots!
I can’t wait to get back to L’Osteria and Padi Fine Dining – they’re my favourites on this list. Fair Warung Balé also has a special place in the round-up because of their amazing acts of charity.
