Imagine yourself lounging on a sunny day bed, a glistening swimming pool in front of you, the ocean just steps away, pumping music all around and fruity fresh cocktails served to your bed.. Sounds like heaven, right?
Well, in Bali that’s a Tuesday.
The paradise tropical island is filled with sumptuous, opulent and luxurious beach clubs where you can spend your hard earned cash to feel like royalty, all whilst overlooking the ocean.
Set up for a day in the sun, at one of the best beach clubs in Bali.
Here are all the spots worth knowing about.
Tropical Temptation Beach Club
Hidden away on the shores of Melasti Beach, Tropical Temptation Beach Club is a stunning setting for a day in the sun.
Overlooking perfect white sands, clear waters and endless panoramic ocean views, reclining on a day bed with a menu of undeniable treats sounds like heaven to me!
The HUGE pool runs the length of the beach club, with day beds and umbrellas available for lounging and enjoying some of the decadent food options. Oozing island luxury, if you have the chance to hit up just 1 beach club during your trip to Bali, Tropical Temptation is the place to go!
La Brisa
La Brisa is a nautical-style beach club located in the quiet black sand area of Echo Beach.
A self-proclaimed ‘Oasis by the sea’, it is a perfect place to escape the crowds, soak in the sun, eat good food and enjoy views out over the surfers tackling the waves.
I highly recommend booking ahead to get one of the lounging day beds that comes along with a minimum spend that is easily consumed in drinks and snacks. From morning until sunset you can pick and choose from the huge menu of tasty treats whilst spending time with your friends and dipping into the cool glistening pool.
For a day in the sun and great tunes, La Brisa is one of the best beach clubs in Bali.
Mano Beach House
Mano Beach House is one of my favourite beach clubs in Bali for its chill and chic atmosphere, stunning setting and huge menu. Sat on Petitenget Beach, the beach club has a super central location yet somehow still remains exclusive and relaxed.
Their ethos is to bring a luxurious bohemian island style with a comfortable laid back vibe – and it’s executed perfectly.
You can spend a long day basking in the sun rays, sipping ice-cold beverages and cooling off in the pool or ocean. Make sure you hang around until sunset for stunning views of the colourful sky.
Ranking up high with the most trendy beach clubs in Bali, I love this spot!
Sundays Beach Club
Next up we have one of Uluwatu’s most popular beach clubs, Sundays Beach Club. Nestled below the cliffside with an elevator that will take you from the cliff top down to the sand, it is a fun experience from the start.
With sunbeds dotted around the perfect white sand, private cabanas and just steps from the turquoise ocean, this is a picturesque spot to spend a long sunny day.
Sundays Beach Club is free entry for adults and children, but has a minimum spend that needs to be spent on food and drinks. Perfect for those who want to spend a whole day lounging and enjoying the club, you can pick and choose from the vast menu for snacks and beverages.
For the ultimate tropical beach day, with a touch of luxury, Sundays Beach Club is the best beach club to visit in Bali.
Komune Beach Club is the perfect relaxed beach vibe. Hidden away on the East coast, it is a great beach club where you can escape from the crowds of the South with stunning views and volcanic black sands.
The beautiful lush setting is a paradise for a day of lazing around in the sun. You can prop up on one of the comfortable day beds around the pool, or hang out in the central restaurant packed with tables and bar space – all looking out over the ocean.
Komune Beach Club is renowned for its amazing food. Even if you don’t want to soak in the sun, head here for a huge feast! The menu is packed full with snacks, pastas, pizzas, burgers, salads and desserts that will have you busting out of your swimmers.
Foodies, this is the perfect beach club in Bali for an incredible food sesh.
Finns Beach Club
Finns Beach Club is probably the most famous beach club on the island.
In the popular seaside town of Berawa – the thriving epicentre of all things surf, coffee and food – it is the ideal spot for a luxurious beach club. Overlooking the dark sand and crashing waves, Finns Beach Club features a huge glistening swimming pool, bamboo building, restaurants, private day beds and hosts popular DJs.
This is a place where people come to relax, be seen and enjoy a day in the sun.
If you love a bustling atmosphere with lots of action, people-watching and entertainment, Finns Beach Club is the best beach club in Bali. Watch acrobatic shows and magnificent sunsets with a fresh fruity cocktail in hand.
Potato Head
With its unique design, multiple restaurants, beachfront pool and access to the sand, Potato Head Beach Club has earned its spot as one of the best beach clubs in Bali. Ideally located alongside Seminyak Beach, you can lounge, bask in the sun, sip on cocktails and enjoy ultra-tasty snacks from a luxurious daybed or the shady seating.
Potato Head Beach Club is one of my favourite places to head for a lavish sunset. Along with some friends we order up from the huge cocktail menu and cheers to another beautiful island day in the sumptuous setting.
A must-visit for every Bali adventure, Potato Head is a great spot for a relaxing day in the sun.
Karma Beach Bali
Karma Beach Bali is a picturesque beach club with white sand, towering cliff sides and idyllically clear waters.
Situated within the deluxe Karma Kandara Resort, Karma Beach Bali holds the same luxury, decadence and exclusivity. Filled with sunbeds, private bales and a restaurant overlooking the ocean, it is the perfect place to spend an extravagant beach day with your friends and family.
Snorkel right off the beach, try out paddle boarding, kayak or enjoy a massage on the sand. Karma Beach Bali offers a fun, chilled and scenic beach club experience.
I love the sunset bonfires on the beach at Karma Beach Bali. You can pull up a bean bag, cosy up round the bonfire with a beer and have a beautiful tropical evening with the stars shining above.
The Four Seasons is the height of luxury, and the Sundara Beach Club in the Four Seasons Jimbaran resort is exactly the same.
An expansive sparkling infinity swimming pool sits at the edge of the sand overlooking the perfect white beach and calm Jimbaran ocean. Between the day beds, cabanas and sky deck, there is a spot where everyone can relax and soak up the opulent atmosphere.
Their menu is filled with French and Asian tastes that offer an extra delicious touch to your sunny lounging day.
For a swanky and upscale day in the sun beside the ocean, Sundara Beach Club is one of the most exclusive beach clubs in Bali.
Como Beach Club
Como Beach Club is a chic, stylish and bohemian beach club located alongside Echo Beach. Featuring rustic woods, natural bamboo, cosy cabanas and a sprawling infinity swimming pool surrounded by lush greenery, you are in for an ultra-calm day.
Their all-day dining menu is perfect for a day of grazing. Packed with pizzas, snacks, pastas and burgers, there is something to suit every craving. I often head here just for some dishes whilst watching the surfers. It’s a chilled and enjoyable vibe.
Como is also an ideal beach club in Bali for families thanks to the neighbouring Play by Como. A fun and supervised space where the kids can play and socialise while the parents unwind with a cocktail at sunset.
Ku De Ta
Just because Ku De Ta is one of the oldest beach clubs in Bali, that doesn’t make it any less lavish or sumptuous. With a reputation for amazing parties, perfect sunset views and an opulent atmosphere that makes every beach day feel like a special event, Ku De Ta is the ideal place to celebrate a special occasion or just lounge in the sun.
The beach club has a lush grassy area, reclining sunbeds, huge daybeds and a restaurant where you can enjoy the ocean views and cool breeze.
Be sure to hang around for sunset so you can dig into a feast of small dishes as the sky turns rainbow colours above.
Ulu Cliffhouse
Ulu Cliffhouse has a dream island aesthetic with natural woods, bright blues and views out over the crashing ocean.
Ok, ok, so Ulu Cliffhouse is technically not a beach club as it resides high up on the cliff top. I am going to include a few of these beautiful, towering day clubs in the cliffs of Uluwatu as they still deserve some recognition as a place to laze in the sun with a pool and vast menu.
Whether you are a sun lover who wants to soak up the rays, or someone who prefers a shady spot, Ulu Cliffhouse has a place for everyone. Dip into the pool, gorge on a huge feast and spend quality time with your friends in a luxurious tropical setting.
One of the most idyllic beach clubs in Bali.
Ohana's Beach Lounge
Taking our best beach club in Bali search across the ocean, Nusa Lembongan is a paradise island filled with white sand beaches and crystal clear waters making it a heavenly spot for a day at a beach club. Ohana’s Beach Lounge is the epitome of that stunning luxury.
The lounge is filled with cosy seating options from daybeds to sun beds where you can soak in the sun and enjoy the beachy relaxed vibe. Just steps from the sand, the hardest choice of your day will be whether to dip into the pool or the ocean – tropical life hardships..
I love Ohana’s Beach Lounge for its chilled atmosphere, stunning scenic views and incredible menu of cocktails, snacks and ice-cold beers.
Cheers to a day at Ohana’s!
Café Del Mar
Café Del Mar is the newest beach club to the Bali scene. Bringing Ibiza’s bright party vibes to the beachside of Canggu, it is an ultra-lavish setting for a special occasion with your friends and family.
The huge property is filled with cabanas, daybeds and in-pool seating areas with staff waiting on you at your bedside. Order up a feast of snacks and sweet delights along with your drinks to really immerse into the sumptuous and relaxing day.
Café Del Mar oozes luxurious Mediterranean vibes for a memorable and special day in the sun.
On the beachfront of Batu Belig, Mari is a sprawling beach club in Bali with a chic tropical style. Featuring bamboo buildings with thatched roofs, natural material decor and many different places to relax in the sun, it is a truly beautiful spot. There are day beds lining the sand, a glistening pool, bean bag tables, a fire pit and restaurant space.
You can select from the range of seating options, that differ in minimum spends. You can get right onto the sand from the beach club, where you can dip into the ocean and surf, before heading back to your spot in the luxe club.
Their menu is packed with delicious Mediterranean dishes and snacks, the cocktails are strong and fresh and there are loads of juices, soft drinks and kombuchas to try.
For a truly luxurious and relaxing day in the sun, Mari is an excellent spot to try!
El Kabron
Perched on the edge of Pecatu’s towering cliff sides, El Kabron is another of our sensational oceanview spots where you get all the perks of a beach club, high above the sand.
The El Kabron Hedonism Lounge has an iconic Mediterranean style with a freeform swimming pool, numerous grand plush daybeds and views out over the ocean. I can’t imagine a more perfect spot for a day of drinking up the sun. The best part is that you don’t need to pay for the different seating spots, you just need to reach the minimum spend ordering rounds of drinks and food from their impressive menu – easily done in my opinion.
For a moment out on the sun, the restaurant offers a shady solace and Spanish cuisine that will knock your socks off. As the sun begins to set, El Kabron is a romantic and picturesque setting. One of the most beautiful beach clubs in Bali.
Showcasing a tropical island vibe from the bamboo tree house, to the tiered swimming pools, to the cabanas on the sand, ABC Artotel Beach Club is the ideal collection of all things paradise. Featuring four bars, a lush lawn and smoothly flowing right onto the beach, ABC Artotel brings trendy beach days to the usually sleepy Sanur.
For a calm day of enjoying the hot island sun, ice-cold drinks and mouth watering snacks, ABC Artotel provides the best set up. You can lounge on one of the covered cabanas, looking out to the ocean with service right to your bed.
ABC Artotel Beach Club is a great beach club in Bali for families!
Finns Beach Club
Don’t worry, I’m not repeating myself, Finns has recently brought the ultimate VIP beach club experience to Canggu with their new Finns VIP Beach Club.
Imagine all the best services at the luxurious beach clubs, magnified. The Finns VIP Beach Club has a champagne bar, the most lavish sunbeds, a manicured lawn, even a sunglasses cleaning service! Spend a day feeling like a celeb with 5-star service, incredible amenities and an atmosphere that screams class.
Just steps from the original Finns Beach Club overlooking Berawa beach and the ocean, I’ll take the chance and say Finns VIP is the best beach club in Canggu.
SugarSand
SugarSand is my favourite Bali beach club in Seminyak. It’s comfortable, trendy and chilled – my perfect atmosphere. I could spend a whole day here ordering cocktails and snacks, dipping into the swimming pool and watching the waves crash to the shore.
Situated along Double Six Beach its centrally located yet remains peaceful and quiet. One of the more unknown beach clubs in Bali, it doesn’t get overcrowded, ideal if you are hoping for a serene day with great music, first-class service and amazing food.
I highly recommend SugarSand for a lazy day in the sun with your friends.
For a more small-island atmosphere, Sandy Bay Beach Club on Nusa Lembongan is a beautiful hidden gem.
Perfect for a day of carefree beach living, the Sandy Bay Beach Club is filled with lounging sunbeds, towering palm trees and island-chic wooden bars all just steps from the ocean. Bask in the cool waters of the swimming pool, get stuck into a huge feast of snacks or simply nap under an umbrella as the mid-day heat bursts onto the sand.
The light and clean design matches the tropical surroundings to ensure a calm paradise atmosphere.
If you have the chance to explore Nusa Lembongan, Sandy Bay Beach Club is one of the must-visit beach clubs in Bali.
The Lawn
Making its name as one of the must-go beach clubs in Canggu for sunset, The Lawn is a chic and trendy spot to hang out with your friends.
The well-known image of the lined up umbrellas, casual bean bags and glistening swimming pool is the exact representation of what awaits. A day at The Lawn promises great music, incredible food, amazing drink deals and a chilled vibe that translates through to the evening crowd.
One of the ‘to be seen at’ beach clubs in Canggu, you are sure to run into some friends or make new mates around the pool. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a day of island living.
The best spot for beachfront events and performances, White Rock Beach Club has a thriving calendar of amazing events of international artists. They have a huge stage and space where you can dance the night away to super famous acts.
When there isn’t an event, it is a bustling beach club wtih oversized sun beds, a huge pool and diverse menu. Spend a luxe, lazy day in the sun, overlooking the sand and ocean with the latest hits over the speakers.
A top spot for special occasions, a night of partying and epic events, check out White Rock Beach Club on Melasti Beach in Ungasan.
Oneeighty Dayclub
I’m going to end our tour of Bali’s best beach clubs with one of the most unique of the bunch – Oneeighty° at The Edge in Uluwatu.
Featuring your usual beach club – or in this case, cliff club – amenities of sunbeds, daybeds and a gigantic menu, Oneeighty° stands out for its jaw-dropping infinity swimming pool that hangs out over the edge of the cliff with a glass bottom.
Not for the faint hearted, the pool gives a clear view of the rocky cliff below, if you are able to reach the bottom! The stunning 180° view of the ocean inspired the club’s name and is its biggest draw.
If you love cliffside elegance, Oneeighty° is the beach club spot for you.
Final Thoughts
If you don’t fancy a day of soaking up the sun from a plush daybed now, then I haven’t done my job correctly. I certainly am ready to throw on my bikini and enjoy a luxurious lazy afternoon by the beach.
For the party-goers, chill relaxers and sun-seekers, there is a beach club in Bali to suit every preference.
With paradise island vibes, clifftop brilliance and modern luxury, all of these beach clubs are worth a visit.
Alright, I’m off to Finns VIP – sunset tipples on me!
