When I first got here, I didn’t think too much about it. But after a week, I desperately needed professional help. Thus began my search for the best facial on the island, and I’m here to share all the deets with you!
There are loads of spas in Bali, and finding one you can trust can be a gamble. I’ve done all the “hard work” of getting massaged and exfoliated, so you don’t have to – poor me! 😉

Where to Get the Best Facial in Bali
Bali is known for a lot of things, the beaches, the nightlife, and of course, the amazing spas.
Here are some of my favorite places for a facial in Bali that will leave your skin looking fresher than ever.
Glo Day Spa and Salon
There are 5 Glo Day Spas all around the island! It is the perfect spa for literally anyone as it doesn’t matter where you are staying in Bali, there’s one close by!
For 75 relaxing minutes, your face will get the detox it needs with their signature Deep Cleanse Detox Facial.
I love this facial as it includes a little bit of everything. Starting with a deep cleansing and steam to prep your skin, then some gentle extractions with a massage, and they’ll finish off with a full face peel-off mask.
You’ll leave the spa feeling like a new person, and your skin will be glowing!
If you have any hyperpigmentation, this facial will balance you right out. Just like our mind and body, our skin needs detoxing too, and this is my favorite way to give my face what it needs
Goldust Beauty Lounge
It’s all in the name – Golddust Spa in Canggu offers one of the most luxurious and best facials in Bali — The Luxury 24K GOLD Facial.
This anti-aging facial will have you looking like a million bucks. It starts with a deep cleanse to slough away dead skin and prepare your face for the next step. To lift your skin, they’ll start a sculpting face massage that will make your jawline look snatched.
After applying a hydrating and plumping hyaluronic mask, they gently massage your skin with pure 24k Gold, leaving you with a radiant golden glow. This is definitely a splurge when it comes to facials in Bali, but some days you just need to feel like royalty.
Thermes Marins at Ayana Hotel
The Thermes Marins at the AYANA Hotel screams relaxation. The award-winning spa overlooks the Indian Ocean, giving you that perfect serene experience before and after your facial.
Make sure you’re not in a rush; you’re going to want to take your time here.
Their Relaxation Facial is nothing short of perfect. It’s only 45 minutes, but they use every minute to take your skin and mind to the ultimate state of relaxation. You’ll enjoy soft, deep movements that work their magic to melt away muscle tension and leave your face looking at peace.
This is one of the best facials in Bali to add to another spa treatment, it’s my favorite way to end a full spa day at AYANA.
Prana Spa
Prana Spa is dedicated to ayurvedic treatments which focus on rejuvenation and relaxation.
While they offer a lot of packages that include facials, I really enjoy their Pevonia Facial.
Blending science and nature, they use pure essential oils, blended with Hazelnut Oil, to revive your skin’s natural balance and hydration. You’ll also receive a customized mask that replenishes, cools, and leaves your skin feeling plump and dewy.
This is a great facial when you aren’t sure what your skin needs, but you know it needs something!
Bodyworks
Bodyworks Spa has been in the game since 1994, and they’ve just about perfected their facials.
I love coming here because the atmosphere feels so welcoming, and not the mention, it’s absolutely gorgeous with its pink walls and open roof courtyard with a plunge pool. It almost feels like a Riad in Morrocco.
A great facial in Bali for a youthful glow, the Marine Collagen Facial from Bodyworks has it in the bag. I schedule one of these anytime my face is looking a little drab.
This luxurious collagen-filled facial targets early signs of aging, dryness, and wrinkles — making it great for those in their late 20s and early 30s. It contains concentrated Marine Collagen and Caviar to restore skin’s elasticity, leaving it plump, toned, and glowing.
Note: If you’re allergic to seafood, this one is not for you!
AWAY Spa
If you’re staying in Seminyak, then you’ve gotta schedule a facial at the Away Spa at the W Bali. It’s one of my favorite places to pop into when I’ve spent the week at the beach and my skin needs some TLC.
The On The Run Facial is one of their most popular services. It’s a quick 30-minute facial that will boost your skin with antioxidants and vitamins. It’s great for those who lead busy lives and don’t have time to spend the day at a spa, but still need an instant fix.
Even though it’s only 30 minutes, the facial includes a thorough cleansing to remove impurities, a gentle face scrub to exfoliate, a nourishing face mask, and a hydration serum to send you on your way with softer, more radiant skin.
Spring Spa Canggu
For the best facial in Canggu, head to Spring Spa. They have a few locations on the island, but the one in Canggu is a favorite.
They have over ten facials to choose from, all targeting different skin concerns. My personal favorite is the Glow-Getter. And no, it’s not just because it has a fun name.
The facial uses raw vegetables and fruit enzymes, including a pure papaya pulp mask that makes the skin glow. After the facial, you’ll get a shot of Jamu, a turmeric tamarind blend that works wonders for brightening and detoxifying the skin from the inside out.
Sundari Wellness
For a traditional Balinese spa, you have to check out Sundari Spa in Seminyak. They stay true to all things Balinese, and their philosophy runs deep into healing with nature.
I love getting a facial at Sundari after spending a few days in the sun, as they use organic aloe vera in almost all of their facials. It cools my skin like you wouldn’t believe it and really quenches the thirst I’ve deprived it of.
The Oxygen Facial with Stem Cell Technology is a great choice as it’s not only gentle but also deeply nourishing. You’ll leave with your skin feeling like it can breathe again.
Therapy Canggu
I don’t think anyone can get enough therapy, whether it’s for your scrambled head or your beautiful face – the more, the merrier. And Therapy in Canggu is a great place for an epic facial in Bali.
Have your face sparkling after their Sparkling Iceball facial.
If you’ve been in Bali for a longer period, I’m sure you’ve already learned about your energetic chakras. This facial focuses on stimulating your energetic pathways with blue sparkling ice balls. They will gently massage your pressure points to help open up your energy channels.
You will walk out feeling both physically and emotionally aligned with an absolute glow to your skin.

Final thoughts
For the longest time, facials were at the bottom of my to-do list. However, I’ve come to realize that our faces deserve so much love. Investing time into skincare has now become a top priority for me. And luckily, none of these spas have let me down!
