Finns Beach Club
Finn’s Beach Club, and its sister VIP Finn’s Beach Club, are some of the most famous places, and must-try spots in the ‘Gu. Hidden in the beachside town of Berawa, the sprawling beach club is an impressive space with a towering bamboo roof, a number of international cuisine options, a glistening swimming pool and spacious party space – with renowned DJs playing hits throughout the day and into the night.
With rentable sunbeds available from a minimum spend, it is a trendy spot to spend a day in the sun.
Alternatively, you can stop by for an incredible sunset view and happy hour drinks. From its beachfront position, you get a front row view to the magical sunset.
Weekly Pizza Party
Why not add some delicious pizza to your evening of partying and drinking? Luigi’s is a perfect place for a night of amazing food and strong drinks – perhaps even with a live DJ thrown in if you visit on the right night.
Located in the heart of Canggu, Luigi’s is a central spot where you can meet with friends for some delicious pizzas and pastas, ice-cold beers and tasty cocktails. The lively environment is fun and friendly, with pumping tunes as the night gets late.

A Night of Rock N Roll
This recently relocated hideaway is a cult favourite for those who have a deep love of music, and want to forget island life for a night. The dark grunge atmosphere, and heavy rock music creates the perfect vibe for an evening of drinking and enjoying live music.
Join mosh-pits, take shots of the homemade ‘bensin’ and spot well-known Bali artists. Unlike any other bar in Bali, Gimme Shelter strips away sunset views and palm trees for a night of epic music, strong whiskey drinks and a feeling of community.
Nautical Beach Club Vibes
La Brisa
La Brisa is one of my favourite bars in Bali for a sunset tipple before heading out for an evening of dancing.
A beach club by day, the space has a nautical, reclaimed wood theme with lots of spots to lounge and relax in the sun. Featuring a refreshing pool, direct beach access and a huge menu of tasty treats, it is ideal for a lazy island day with the ocean breeze flowing through that turns into an evening of fruity cocktails and a live DJ.
On the quieter side of Canggu, in Echo Beach, La Brisa has easy access to the other party spots, but I highly suggest you enjoy this beachside oasis all night long.
Best Live Music in Canggu
XBar
For an easy night of socialising, drinking and partying, XBar is one of the most chill bars in Canggu.
The outdoor setting, relaxed seating and full calendar of live music makes this a great place to relax with friends and enjoy laid-back island life. With late night happy hours, and a menu full of delicious Western meals, you can lounge watching the talented local musicians, and dance the night away to the live DJ.
Located in the heart of town, XBar is a fun spot to spend a Canggu night.
For the Beer Lover
Black Sand Brewery
Black Sand Brewery is one of the only bars in Bali to have their own craft beer made right on site.
In traditional beer garden style, you can relax in the sun and sip one of the bars own beers or an ice-cold classic Bintang. It’s worth mentioning, they also have a famed kitchen that pumps out some of my favourite bite dishes on the island including calamari and tuna tacos – and pizzas, steaks, and burgers – I’m a big fan of their food!
With an impressive playlist, buzzing atmosphere and trendy warehouse style, Black Sand is a perfect place to meet with friends for a Sunday night bite.
The Heart of Canggu
Deus Ex Machina
I’ve always used Deus as my pinpoint when navigating friends around Canggu. An iconic spot with a dedicated following, Deus hosts amazing live music nights, special events and art shows.
The backyard space is probably most well-known and used, with its stage welcoming local and international musicians weekly. The open-air bar quickly fills up on a Sunday night when the island’s favourite bands perform their hearts out. With an ice-cold beer in hand, you can dance and jam with the friendly artists, enjoying their tunes and an evening with friends.
Deus also has an on-site store and art gallery that often hosts special exhibitions of local photographers’ work.

The cosmopolitan centre of Bali, Seminyak is the perfect place to go for a night of cocktail drinking, dancing and late-night clubbing. Packed with thriving bars and clubs, if you are looking for a big night out, Seminyak is where to go.

Get ready for dancing on the tables, drinking tequila from the bottle and partying into the early hours, Motel Mexicola is an open-air trendy restaurant that turns into party central as the evening gets late.
The live DJ knows the right tunes to get everyone dancing around their tables and up on the dancefloor. Sip strong margaritas, take one last bite of your nachos and party the night away in the beautiful large setting. In the heart of Seminyak, it is an ideal spot to start – and even end – your night out.
Along with the amazing drinks deals, huge Mexican menu and private booths where you can relax with your group, Motel Mexicola has everything you need for an epic party.

La Favela
Arguably one of the most famous clubs on the island, we’ve all spent a long – blurry – night in La Favela dancing a little too weirdly and drinking a little too much.
On the buzzing Kayu Aya, La Favela is a chic restaurant during the day that turns into a thriving busy club in the evening. Playing all the best music for night’s of jumping with your hands in the air, it’s going to be one of your favourite party spots in Seminyak.
With both indoor and outdoor spaces, multiple bars and seating areas, the bar has a comfortable spot for every type of partier – whether you are the sit-and-talk type or dance-till-you-sweat type.
La Favela is one of the must-visit bars in Bali.
An Iconic Bali Bar
Red Carpet Champagne Bar
Located opposite La Favela, Red Carpet Champagne Bar is one of the more ‘high-class’ bars in Seminyak, well, kind of.
Less of a heavy party spot, and more of a sit and get drunk in your seat bar, Red Carpet appeals to an older demographic for a fun night of drinking and eating. With all the well known Champagne brands, luxurious treats like caviar and oysters, you can add a touch of decadence to your evening with friends.
And, if you are a big spender, you can catch a free ride home in the Champagne mobile sidecar! Sounds worthwhile to me.
Pasta, Pizza, Party, Oh my!
Da Maria
Da Maria has earned itself a reputation of incredible food, amazing drinks and an epic party atmosphere. Hosting special events and parties throughout the year, you can stop by for some of the best pizza in town and a lively rager.
The space has a chic trendy style with motifs and signature colours. Right in the heart of Seminyak on Petitenget, it is a great spot to begin or end your night.
Dress to impress, and get lost in their menu of cocktails and tipples.
Underground Party
40 Thieves
Picture a speak-easy, roaring 20s glamour vibe for this Bali bar.
40 Thieves is a classic indoor space with a huge bar, room to dance and an endless list of cocktails. For a night where you lose track of time, and the number of drinks you’ve had, it is the perfect location where you can be wild and free. In the centre of Seminyak, 40 Thieves is an ideal place to go after a delicious dinner for some tasty cocktails and a quick boogie.
With amazing DJs, an exclusive atmosphere and talented bartenders, you won’t want to leave!
Classic English Pub Style
The Orchard
Now, I may be a bit biased, but there’s nothing like a night out at the pub. Pints, wholesome home cooked meals and a friendly atmosphere screams comfort – and you can get all of that at The Orchard.
Their impressive menu of British favourites, vast selection of cocktails, and beers on tap makes this a great bar in Bali for a relaxing evening drink with friends, or a Sunday afternoon roast and pints with family. Home to some of the best music events on the island, The Orchard has established its top spot among the Bali music scene.
Dance the night away to Brit classics, reggae favourites and indie sensations. You won’t be disappointed.
Seminyak Sunset Spot
Potato Head
We all know Potato Head – even if it’s your first trip to the island, I’m sure the name has crossed your path during your research. Right on the beachfront of Seminyak, in the centre of town, the colossal beach club is one of my favourite places to go for a fancy sunset drink.
With their creative cocktails, unique serving glasses and exclusive party atmosphere, you can watch the sunset into the horizon with top 40 tracks pumping through.
A beach club by day, and party spot by night, many famous DJs have passed through for some major ragers. Keep an eye out for their event of the month, as some pretty well-known faces often stop by.
Seminyak’s Hidden Secret
Sling Bar
Within The Plantation Grill in Double Six, Sling Bar is a throwback to Prohibition times with its sleek elegant design, Gatsby-esque style and relaxed exclusive vibe.
Perfect for a first-date, cocktail with friends or an evening of debauchery, Sling Bar has one of the best selections of cocktails I have ever seen. Whether you love gin, vodka or champagne, they have something to suit you and your tastes.
Their outstanding service, amazing central location and relaxed comfortable atmosphere makes this one of the best bars in Bali where you can get glamourous and have some fun.
3 Floors of Parties
ShiShi Nightclub
ShiShi Nightclub doesn’t mess around, it is a party from the moment you step through the door and across each of the 3 floors.
The lounge provides a more sophisticated and relaxed dining and drinking experience, while the top 2 floors are techno and RnB heaven. Get lost in the music, dance til your feet hurt and try every drink on the menu, ShiShi is one of the biggest parties in Seminyak.
If you are looking for a bar where you can dance all night long, this is the spot for you!
Cocktails with a Twist
Ling-Ling's
Not only an amazing restaurant with a wide variety of menu items from tacos to sushi, Ling-Ling’s also has a pretty incredible cocktail selection and some wild DJ sets.
With every type of liquor and cocktails served out of watermelons, even if you stop by for just one drink, Ling-Ling’s is worth a visit. Slurp down a frozen pina colada or share one of the huge sharing jugs with friends. IT is one of my favourite pre-gaming bars.
You can chill, chat and relax before heading out to the bigger parties in town.

Ubud – Party in the Jungle
A place known for peace, quiet and disconnecting from the world, doesn’t mean you can’t have a party night or 2.
Ubud has some amazing bars and places to hang out, albeit a lot less than the previous 2 towns. Sip beers among the treetops and relax with the monkeys sipping arak.
These are a few spots in Ubud where you can enjoy a drink and a dance.
Rustic Party Bar
The rustic comfortable style, lively atmosphere and endless list of performing musicians makes No Más a perfect spot for a night out in Ubud. Preparing drinks with a heavy hand, it’s a great place to have an evening meal with friends that turns into a night of dancing to the live music.
Located on the main street of the Monkey Forest, No Más proves that even quiet jungle town Ubud can bring the party.
For those staying in town, or venturing through, it will quickly become your favourite evening hang out.

A Bit of Everything
This cafe and bar in Bali is a great all-rounder for food, coffees and some cheeky cocktails. The bright farmhouse-style setting, relaxed atmosphere and vast menu is perfect for an afternoon of tasty dishes and refreshing cocktails with friends.
Close by to Campuhan Ridge Walk, you can reward your long walk along the stunning scenery with a daylight tipple.

The Night Rooster
Part of the Locavore family, it goes without saying that Night Rooster Bar takes cocktails to a new extreme with hints and flavours you won’t find elsewhere. Accompanying a hearty menu of Indonesian sate dishes to soak up the booze, this is a spot where all cocktails lovers should go.
The relaxed, comfortable setting, friendly staff and central location makes it an easy place for everyone to enjoy.
Grab some mates, and head over for an Ashes and Fireman. You don’t want to miss out on this up and coming bar in Bali.
Pizzeria by Day, Cocktail Bar at Night
Nothing better accompanies a night of fruity cocktail drinking than some hearty, classic, Italian pizza. And, not only do they serve up tasty inventive cocktails, the drinks have some of the best names in the business! Catch me ordering a ‘random access memories’ or ‘jazzmatazz’.
If you are looking for a place where you can chill, drink and be merry, Dumbo is the bar in Ubud for you. The comfortable vibe, helpful staff and upbeat tunes makes an evening with friends even more enjoyable. Catering to the wine lovers and beer drinks too, this is my favourite place to unwind in Ubud.

Uluwatu – Ocean View Sunset Beers
Uluwatu is the go-to place for stunning sunset view bars. On the towering cliff sides overlooking expansive views of the ocean, you won’t find a more direct view of the sun setting into the ocean, and the sky turning from blue, to pink, to orange and then black.

A Go-to for Sunset
Single Fin
You haven’t really enjoyed an Uluwatu sunset until you have been to Single Fin. Sitting on the cliff edge above Suluban Beach, it is a regular stop off for surfers wanting to grab a quick snack and drink before heading down for a day of surfing.
At night is when the party really starts with a live DJ, live bands and undisturbed views out over the ocean as the sun begins to set. Don’t forget to grab your phone to get a stunning picture of the colourful sky, it really is indescribable.
The bustling party doesn’t stop until the early hours. Get ready for a big night!
Luxury Resort Vibes
Mana Uluwatu Restaurant & Bar
As to be expected, a lot of the noteworthy bars in Uluwatu are located within the town’s luxury resorts. In the prime locations and with the best menus, you don’t need to be a guest to enjoy the flavourful cocktails, local beers and mesmerising sunset views.
Mana Uluwatu is one such bar in Uluwatu, located within a sprawling villa resort. Featuring an infinity swimming pool, impressive menu, endless ocean views and 5-star service, if you are in the area, it’s worth checking out.
With a cheap happy hour, name brand alcohols and a beautiful setup, Mana Uluwatu could quickly become your favourite bar in Uluwatu.
Hippy Party
Hatch
For the solo travelers and backpackers among us, Hatch is a perfect place to meet with other like minded people for a night of good food, dancing and drinking.
The unique tree house lay out adds a fun element to the night where you can search to find your most comfortable spot. Dreamed up by a group of self-proclaimed hippies, you can sense the chilled relaxed vibe from the moment you enter.
Tuck into tasty tacos and small bites, as well as joining the special parties and events with famed DJs.

As a cocktail lover, these bars really got me in the mood for a quick G&T.
