Serving their own coffee blends with beans from around the country, you can’t beat a smooth trickle of caffeine hitting your system.
Hungry Bird is a cosy cafe that makes for a great working space if you are tired of Canggu coworking spots. The sweet cakes and tasty menu will have you energised and fuelled for a big island day.
Open from 8am in the heart of Canggu, you can stop off for a coffee hit and fresh croissant on your way to the day’s adventures.
A Nordic Breakfast of Dreams at Copenhagen

OK, I’m going to say it, there is no shortage of amazing breakfast foods in Canggu.
Copenhagen’s ‘build your own breakfast’ has a special place in my heart. Rye bread, scrambled eggs and bacon are calling to me.
With a vast breakfast menu of Western morning favourites, and naughty sweets, you won’t regret heading here for a post-surf feast.
From 6.30am to 6pm you can tuck into unforgettable mouthfuls of heaven.
Brekkie in the.. Nüde
Nude
This is one of the best restaurants in Canggu for extending breakfast into brunch. Nüde has a huge, healthy menu full of everything you could wish for.
At the top of my list is their potato rosti stack, and filling smoothies. The perfect combination of salty and sweet, all the food is the perfect fuel for a busy day.
The outdoor seating area is a cool and breezy setting to relax with your friends over a hangover pick-me-up or catch-up.
A great spot for people watching, or stopping by before heading to the beach, Nüde is one of my favourite Canggu restaurants.
Sweet Like Milk and Madu
Milk and Madu
If you trust their cult following, then Milk and Madu is one of the top places to get your breakfast fix in Bali – as well as every other meal.
The all-day breakfast menu is packed with everything from smoothie bowls to burritos and French toast. Grab your laptop and send a few emails out before your day starts, and watch the world pass by.
Their relaxed and chill set-up is perfect for a morning feast or simple coffee.

Monsieur Spoon’s pastries melt in your mouth like butter.
Preparing fresh breads, cakes and dishes for the masses, this is one of the must-visit cafes in Canggu – an island staple.
Their menu of sandwiches, soups and salads can fuel you for a day in the sun. With spots all over Bali, no matter where you are you can find a super tasty pastry.

A huge breezy cargo-container turned cafe, CRATE cafe is the place to be seen!
I’ve purposefully placed it here, as although it is one of the hotspot restaurants in Canggu for breakfast, their salad bowls are undeniably delicious. Both the breakfast and lunch menu are FABULOUS.
The entire menu is presented proudly on the walls, with their pay-first system making sure it is a smooth and speedy experience – if you need it to be.
Take a seat at one of the sprawling benches or comfortable sofas, and dig into your tasty meal. Using fresh local ingredients, you are promised some quality food for a reasonable price!
CRATE cafe is an all-day fave!
A small concept store is located in the cafe for some enjoyable spending, supporting some local independent brands.
After a few hours of wandering the town and sunning on the beach, you can get a bit peckish for a tasty lunch or early dinner. Here are the best restaurants in Canggu for an evening calorie splurge and grand feast.

DuaTiga has some of the best noodles on the island – that aren’t Indo-mie.
A combination of Vietnamese and Thai cuisine, they have perfectly captured the tastes of South East Asia in their bowls.

Explore their menu of Western dishes or try something new! The great atmosphere, right in the heart of Berawa, is perfect for a relaxing get together.

Canggu is brimming with local warungs offering their local delicacies, but Warung Jaba is one of the best Indonesian restaurants in Canggu.
Authentic noodles, rice dishes and side veggies provide a mouthful of flavour you might not be expecting. Indonesian food is unbelievable.

Ona’s design is out of this world. Intricate, beautiful and stylish, it is a stunning setting to dine.
Encompassed by lush rice fields and featuring private booths or tables, the Mediterranean menu is served in luxury.
Right in the heart of Berawa, close by to the Finns Recreation Club, it is the ideal location to meet with friends for dinner before a night out.
Fridays are ladies night with free flow from 6-8pm. Get on your glad rags and have a drink on Ona!
Meet Me at Honey, Honey
Honey,
Honey, is a chic and beautiful restaurant located among the vast luscious rice fields of Pererenan.
Thei vast menu is packed full of decadent treats and Mediterranean staples to satisfy your belly.
I personally recommend the smashed burger and falafel burger, you can’t beat the amazing flavour the team have managed to create!
The minimalist style, and incredible food makes this one of the best restaurants in Canggu – in my opinion.
A Meal for Your Senses
Sensorium Bali
If you are creative with your meals and open to something very special, Sensorium is the place to go.
The dedicated and talented chef and owner – William Salim – works with the ingredients to make a magical dining experience.
The all-day menu is filled with regular dishes, but with a twist – Japanese scrambled eggs, decked out avo-toast and breakfast quesadillas – wow.
Sensorium has a minimalist design that lets the food speak for itself.
Bringing France to the Island
Folie Bali
Folie’s all-day brunch and dinner menus are filled with decadent dishes to get your taste buds dancing.

Located beside vibrant green rice fields, this is a cool breezy place to have a few drinks and sample small snacks with your loved ones.
Chill out to the 80s hits and enjoy the thriving atmosphere of this Canggu must-go spot.

Flippin’ Out Over Fabbrica’s Pizza
Pizza Fabbrica
One of the best restaurants in Canggu for Italian food, Fabbrica uses authentic Italian ingredients and brands to ensure their food is as close to the original as possible.
Their thin-crust crunchy pizzas are smothered with fresh tomatoes and the stringiest Mozzarella for a perfect pizza cheese pull.
The menu is filled with pasta and antipasti favourites that will have you believing you are sitting in Rome.

At the top of my list of restaurants for every vegan and vegetarian is I am Vegan Babe.
The sassy name alone makes it intriguing, but the menu will have your floored.
The breakfasts are for champions with everything from oats to tacos, to full-cooked breakfasts.
Their salad and smoothie bowls are unmatched, while their extensive lunch menu is hard to choose from.
Even the non-vegans will be able to enjoy this incredible spot!
Hands Up, This is the Plant Cartel

If you are searching for the vegan burgers of dreams, look no further, this is where your dreams come true.
Soft buns, vegetarian patties and fresh toppings make for the most satisfying, earth friendly, burger on the island.
Fill up on the tasty sides of mac and cheese or cauli-buffalo wings, all with no guilt. A great option for the veggie crew, suit up and join the Plant Cartel.
The Shady Shack is a Little Old Place Where..

You won’t find fresher delights then at Shady Shack.
The healthy menu is brimming with crunchy vegetables, fresh salads, huge burgers, smoothie bowls and cake treats – it is a place that non-vegetarians can easily find something to suit their style.
Located on Batu Bolong, just a short drive from the beach and hotspots of the town, you can stop off for a filling and delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner before heading out into the crowds.
A Whole Cafe Dedicated to Avocados
Avocado Factory
Not to be controversial, but I’m not a huge fan of avocados..- cue sharp intake of breath.
But after a visit to the Avocado Factory, I am pleased to say I am – slightly – converted.
Avocado hummus with pita bread, stacking avo onto my burger and smothering it in sauce, totally delicious!
The majestic fruit is the heart and soul of this quaint luscious restaurant, and deserves some attention from even the most unconvinced of avo-tasters.
Blended in drinks, decorated into a rose and thinly sliced into a salad, every imaginable way is served at this avocado haven.
The Supershop of Superfoods
Peloton Supershop
I’m going to be ending this vegetarian segment with the most famous of the plant-based restaurants in Canggu, Peloton.
In the centre of town, you are sure to drive past this spot at some point during your Canggu stay.
Their menu runs from 9am breakfast through to 9pm dinners, bursting with Western faves and sweet dishes.
Promoting a plant-based lifestyle in the tastiest of ways, Peloton is a must-visit restaurant.
